The Occupational Medicine Director is responsible for directing sales, marketing, policies and programs of the Occupational Medicine Department to ensure all occupational health needs are met for area employers. This position is responsible for developing and marketing products and/or services relevant to the company and departmental needs, while maintain relationships with company representatives to ensure continuation of products and services.

The Director is responsible to manage the daily operations of the department, supervise and evaluate performance of the department personnel, manage the day-to-day operation of the staff by hiring, and terminating within the guidelines of clinic policy. In addition to staff management, the Director will develop the department budget for staffing, supplies, capital expenses, and ensure that the department operates within the allocated funds. Adherence to Federal and State regulations must be maintained at all times.

This position also functions as the organization Safety Officer as designated in the Environment of Care Management plan, and works with the Director of Human Resources to ensure there is adherence to OSHA's rules and Regulations.


  • Licensed Registered Nurse or Certified Occupational Health Nurse.
  • Business or Marketing Degree or equivalent experience. Three to five years experience in health care services and program development, and two or more years of successful supervisory experience.
  • The ability to communicate and work compatibly with nurses, physicians and other staff members is crucial.
  • This position is a Full-Time salaried position, working as a part of the management team of the organization. Salary will be based on skill and job match.
