Director of Radiology, Cleveland, OH
Director of Radiology is responsible for directing the activities of department personnel engaged in operating radiology equipment to obtain radiographs and developing radiographs. Provides input into development of departmental policies and procedures, ensures all activities comply with Medical Center and outside regulatory agency standards, monitors supply levels, and equipment maintenance. Monitors and maintains budget for assigned department. Complies with measures/activities to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained.
Graduate from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology required. ARRT (R) and Ohio State License required. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required; masters preferred. Three to five years of progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain technical competence in a variety of diagnostic procedures, to gain full understanding of radiologic policies, procedures and equipment maintenance in a hospital environment. Good organizational skills to manage multiple sites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians. Strong PC skills (Excel, Work, Outlook) experience with Meditech and other clinical systems preferred.
