Recruitment Consultant (Job Opening 408577) - Scope of Position
The department of Human Resources supports the staff and management of The Ohio State University Medical Center. As a Recruiter, you will be part of a team working collaboratively to identify new and creative means for sourcing high quality candidates within established and proposed skill sets, conduct formal interviews with potential candidates, work with hiring departments on the selection process, manage the referral process.
Serves as a member of the Medical Center Senior Recruitment & Sourcing Team; responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that will result in the successful recruitment of various healthcare professionals. This position works closely with department leaders, administration and internal staff to understand and fill the recruitment needs of each department. Form close partnerships with departments to understand the nature of their business and their strategic goals. Provides consultation services for departments to understand the short-term and long-term recruitment initiatives, provides sourcing efforts and solutions to meet those needs.
Education and experience
Bachelor degree required, master degree preferred; considerable (3-5 years) experience in a recruiter or HR Generalist capacity required. Physician recruitment or healthcare recruitment preferred.
