As Controller, you will be responsible for supervising every aspect of the financial accounting, investment, payables and credit functions of AltaMed and its affiliates. This includes financial statements, budget analysis and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and our internal standards. Evaluating and developing your team of directors, managers, supervisors and staff is an essential part of this role as well.
Your qualifications must include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, CPA licensure, and at least 10 years of relevant finance/accounting experience. You will also need a progressive background in health care and managed care, with a thorough understanding of industry accounting practices such as capitation transactions, IBNR estimates, and cost reporting for regulatory agencies. An MBA is strongly preferred.
