Position Summary: Provides management, administrative and consultation services including employment, employee relations, discipline and training, workers compensation, unemployment, policy and practice interpretation, conflict resolution, compensation and leave of absence administration. Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred: Masters Degree Minimum Experience: Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience Position Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews and selects qualified candidates to fill vacancies at all levels within the medical center in timely manner for assigned departments. Manages employee relation issues for assigned departments. Responsible for administration of compensation and benefit programs for assigned departments. Manages, coaches and counsels Human Resources support staff. Interprets Human Resource policies and practices for LUMC administrators and employees. Develops and conducts new employee and new manager orientation programs.
