  • Masters Degree With an advanced degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • 3-5 years direct patient care experience
  • 2-4 years in a Nursing Leadership position (Manager+)
  • 4-7 years progressive demonstrated experience in financial and business management
  • Certification in Specialty
  • 2+ years experience managing staffing protocols and acuity systems

Job Description

To strategically analyze and implement innovative staffing effectiveness initiatives that contribute to the plan, coordination and management of nursing and clinical personnel in the provision of high quality and cost~effective patient care services. To conduct staffing effectiveness risk analysis in partnership with Nursing and Clinical, HR, and Finance Leaders and make appropriate improvement recommendations to the Chief Nurse Executive. To oversee administration of contracts with outside nursing and other clinically based agencies and then participate in contract negotiation process. To provide consultative services to Nursing and Clinical Operations Leadership using staffing, census, cost and staffing effectiveness data and outcomes. Serves as key driver of staffing and productivity software programs and improvement processes. To provide administrative and clinical leadership on a 24~hour basis to Administrative Supervisors, Nursing Office personnel, and Supplemental Nursing Staff. To manage and coordinate public reporting of staffing effectiveness data to governmental and other accreditation agencies as required.
