School Position Description:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will perform in the role of School Social Worker in the Hammond, IN school setting. Experience with target population and IN license required. LMHC, LCSW. Provide individual and family therapy with children in a school setting. Coordinate care between mental health agency and school administration/staff. Hammond schools – 10-month position. Shift: days
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will perform in the Intake department. Provide direct clinical services, documentation thereof, and participate in facility/program requirements and responsibilities as assigned. This position must be able to work with seriously mentally ill individuals in a positive manner. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups. Ability to prioritize projects or assignments based on limited supporting information, and to develop creative alternative solutions. Required ability to type and document client information on a computer. Participate in regular departmental staff meetings.
Shift: Days; with two late evenings per week

Regional is part of the system of private non-profit mental health centers that has successfully served Indiana for over 35 years, and represents the merger of the well-known Southlake and Tri-City Mental Health Centers.
We provide state-of-the-art treatment, particularly in the care of the severely and chronically mentally ill, including Assertive Community Treatment, Supported Employment, Clubhouse and other programs. The continued roll-out of cutting edge intervention is a Center priority. We are leaders in the development of integrated models of care for physical and mental health disorders in Indiana, and successfully created 4 Federally Qualified Health Centers, two of which are housed within Regional Mental Health Center, in order to meet our ambitious goals of improving health outcomes in our severely mentally ill core clientele.

Education, Experience Certifications
MA/MS degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Psychology, 2 years of experience with the target population are required. In addition, an active License for the State of Indiana in any of the following disciplines (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) is required.
