The Vancouver Clinic is the largest multi-specialty physician practice group in SW Washington where the professional staff builds lifetime relationships with our patients. We have over 275 providers and 1000 employees. Located in Vancouver, Washington just across the river from Portland, Oregon. In this role you’ll manage the operations of specialty department(s). We are looking for an energetic, experienced professional to lead a team of staff providing compassionate medical care. The manager will oversee the daily operations. Requires in-depth experience w/ developing business objectives, budgets and financials, ability to select and develop staff.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of management experience in a busy medical office setting. Prefer those with experience in managing Specialty departments in an ambulatory environment. Prefer those with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

As a vital member of our team, the Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall direction and management of the assigned departments. This direction and management must be consistent with the policies, objectives, practice standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, organizing, applying, directing, controlling, and evaluating all resources invested in the organization.

Management of Clinic Operations: Manages daily operations and responsibilities of the “throughput” within each assigned module. Act as the first level, go to person for the providers and staff and patients regarding troubleshooting issues. Ability to develop and articulate goals designed to promote organizational strategies.

Personnel Development and Supervision: Manages all aspects of hiring, orientation, scheduling, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and compliance with Clinic policies and procedures. Must have the ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.

Communication: Establishes effective working relationships with staff, patients, providers, customers, vendors, managers and staff in administrative and support departments.
