Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Consultant – Psychologist - $30,000 Sign on Bonus!

Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is growing! CVCH is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. We have an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Consultant at our Wenatchee location.

The Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Consultant’s primary job function is to provide Primary Care Behavioral Medicine services. The Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Consultant makes treatment recommendations to PCPs and conducts follow-up consultations to reinforce interventions, delivering a range of direct patient services from consultation, assessment, and brief intervention, to long-term therapy for selected patients and populations. The Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Consultant assists in the training of Doctoral Interns and Postdoctoral Residents within the department by providing supervision, didactic trainings, and other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA approved psychology program.
  • Certification/Licensure: Have (or be eligible and willing to apply for) Psychologist licensure through the WA State Department of Health. If currently licensed in another state, must have been licensed as a psychologist for a minimum of two years prior to applying.
  • Experience: Must be licensed for a minimum for two years as a psychologist (without restrictions) at the time of applying for the position. If not currently licensed in WA, must be willing to apply for licensure in WA. Prior experience supervising psychology pre-doctoral interns, post-doctoral residents, and/or other master’s level trainees or providers, is preferred but not required. Prior experience in integrated primary care and health psychology preferred but not required.
