Children’s Village in Yakima, Washington, is seeking a visionary and compassionate Specialty Clinic Director to lead our team!
The Specialty Clinic Director will oversee the daily operations of Children’s Village as well as our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. We're looking for a strategic thinker with strong practice management and leadership experience who can also strengthen relationships with our external partners. Experience directing a multi-specialty clinic is highly desired.

As part of Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Children's Village is a unique vision that became a reality through key community organizations and dedicated volunteers. With over 30 specialized services provided, families no longer have to travel long distances for pediatric subspecialty care. At Children's Village, we believe in interdisciplinary care and work collaboratively with numerous clinical partners, including: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Early Intervention/ESIT, and Behavioral Assessment/Treatment Team.

Position Highlights:
- $104,000 -$139,000 yearly compensation DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
- $10,000 sign-on bonus + an additional $1,000 bonus after 12 months of employment

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple specialty service lines and external partnerships
- Supervise, mentor, and train staff, addressing performance issues
- Foster staff growth and development through educational opportunities
- Responsible for recruitment, orientation, and maintaining an inclusive work environment
- Oversee day-to-day management of medical and dental providers
- Ensure clinical operations optimize best practices
- Promote high standards through standardized policies and protocols
- Manage health plan quality metrics and compliance with regulations
- Enhance patient experience and satisfaction
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial performance
- Drive operational improvements and change management initiatives
- Maintain community ties to promote the clinic's mission
- Ensure operational compliance with Joint Commission, Meaningful Use, NCQA, UDS and state/federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field + 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment OR
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or related field + 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
- Knowledge of Washington and/or Oregon State Basic Health Plans
- Knowledge of Community and Migrant Health Centers and primary healthcare services
- Skills to problem solve, prioritize, and communicate effectively
- Proficient with Epic or another patient information system, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of medical and/or dental office operations preferred
