Primary Care Provider/Physician
This position provides high quality medical care by examining patients and determining the appropriate treatment plans, illness or injuries. The incumbent conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services.
SUMMARY – MID-LEVEL PROVIDER (NP/PA) $134,733-$185,580/year
Duties:
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exam, labs, and diagnosis.
- Develops and implements treatment plans, prescribes medications, and provides patient education.
- Orders and interprets lab tests, makes appropriate referrals, and ensures continuity of care.
- Completes charting, participates in staff meetings, quality improvement, and in-service education.
- Works under a supervision agreement as required.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program; licensed to practice in the U.S.
- Preferably Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Proficient in EHR (preferably RPMS); DEA certified.
- Eligible/enrolled in Medi-Cal and other payors.
- X-waiver preferred (1 year to obtain if not held).
- Experience with underserved populations and culturally sensitive to Native American communities.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
SUMMARY – PHYSICIAN (MD/DO) $208,562-$307,171/year
Duties:
- Performs detailed patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Orders labs, interprets results, prescribes medications, and educates patients.
- Manages patient care continuity, referrals, and case management.
- Provides leadership, supervision for mid-level providers, and in-service education.
- Participates in meetings, quality improvement, and peer review activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school; licensed to practice as MD/DO in the U.S.
- Preferably Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Experienced with EHR (preferably RPMS); DEA certified.
- Eligible/enrolled in Medi-Cal and other payors.
- X-waiver preferred (1 year to obtain if not held).
- Experience with underserved communities and cultural sensitivity to Native American traditions.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required.
