We provide a multidisciplinary and minimally invasive approach to treating spine, orthopedic and neurosurgical conditions, with surgical intervention only when other treatments are non-effective. We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Floater for our Spine/Orthopedic Clinic. This role is essential in providing support across various departments, ensuring that our clinic and office operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have a passion for patient care. This role requires a strong ability to multitask and a customer-focused approach.


Responsibilities


• Assist staff throughout multiple departments
• Perform administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, scheduling appointments, and answering phones.
• Ensure timely documentation and accurate updating of electronic medical records (EMR) and handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with patient intake and registration processes, ensuring accurate information is collected.
• Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Help manage patient flow to minimize wait times and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment to meet health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support as needed.


Job Education, Experience, Certification (requirements):


• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in healthcare is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and providers.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to cover various shifts within the clinic.
