Optometrist at Yakima Neighborhood Health Services

Annual Salary: $120,000-$140,000

Job Description:

Provide optical services within the clinic setting, including eye exams, and treatment of conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism for low-income and other marginalized communities in the Yakima, WA area. Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses; provide low vision aids and vision therapy; diagnose eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and conjunctivitis; and participate in pre- or post-operative care. Perform timely and accurate medical record documentation; actively participate in staff meetings, quality assurance activities, and peer review as directed; maintain an organized, clean, efficient, and confidential work area. Annual Salary: $120,000-$140,000.

Requirements:

Doctor of Optometry degree and Washington State Optometry license
